Approaching from North:

From Charlottesville, travel 35 miles south on 29S. Look for festival signs after passing the small town of Lovingston.

Approaching from South:

From Lynchburg, travel 22 miles north on 29N. Look for festival signs.

Once you arrive onsite, everything will be within close proximity. For hotel package purchasers, roundtrip shuttles will be available from each hotel to the festival grounds on the day of each performance. Please note: shuttles will not be available for campers or day-goers. 

Guests can also utilize Ubers and other local transportation options as needed.

In order to ensure a seamless entry experience, we recommend that you have the following items ready and available:

💫 Wristbands: Make sure your wristband is securely on your wrist and has been pre-registered under your name. 

💫 Vehicle & Camping Passes: Have your car camping or parking decal ready to present to our check-in team.

💫 ID: Please have your ID readily available.

Early Arrival Add-on

The Early Arrival Add-On lets you access the campground early, starting Thursday, October 9th, at 10:00 AM before regular entry begins at 12:00 AM on Friday, October 10th. This add-on is required per person, so everyone in the car must have an Early Arrival Add-on if they’re entering the festival on Thursday.

A Festival Pass is required for every guest entering the valley of the Seven Stars.

Note: Early Arrival is included with the festival passes that come with Pre-Set Tent, Glamping Tent, and RV Rental packages. If you purchase additional festival passes separately, you will need to buy Early Arrival Add-ons for those passes.

Weekend Parking

The Seven Stars Weekend Parking Pass is for festival-goers who plan to tent-only camp or those driving to the festival and parking throughout the weekend. This pass will allow you to come and go from the parking lot located directly outside of the campgrounds.

This pass grants access to the designated parking area from Friday, October 10th at 12:00 AM until Monday, October 13th at 12:00 PM. Car camping is not permitted in the Weekend Parking lot.

Seven Stars has partnered with Wanderwell to offer comprehensive travel insurance, providing protection against trip cancellations, emergency medical expenses, trip delays, baggage issues, and more. If you purchase OnTour trip protection through Wanderwell, you may also be eligible to add an optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) upgrade for added flexibility. This upgrade allows reimbursement of up to 75% of nonrefundable payments if you meet eligibility requirements.

CFAR Upgrade Details

• Must be added within 10 days of your initial trip purchase.
• Not available to residents of New York or Washington state.
• To add CFAR, reply to your OnTour policy confirmation email and request the upgrade.
